As at the event on Oricon there were more people participating at the tunnel event than expected. We had at the peak time around 60 people fighting against each other and a very messy teamspeak channel
(If the event had been called "Tunnels of Love" as I planed it for some time there might have been more).
Hardly any innocent questers got harmed.
The event started with the republic being slightly stronger than the empire. But it only took a few moments until the empire managed to strike back. Just to be overpowered by the Republic at the end - this was mainly caused by many imperial players leaving.
The fights lasted for about 2.5 hours with the republic sneaking into the imperial base at the end.
Many thanks to everybody who took part and helped to promote the event. Here some screenshots. If you took some yourself feel free to link them in the comments or to send them to me. I will happily publish them here. Also check out the ones Zyera from the guild New OutRiders took: Zyera's Blog
The next open world pvp event I will host will take place on Hoth at 6th September.
But here the screenshots:

Today in the Tunnels ...
To allow each other to find their fellow fighters there will be two open ops group running. One on imperial and one on republic side. It is possible to join those with /join Caidith (Republic Side) and /join Trully (Empire). It is recommended to join those Ops groups before entering the tunnels as everybody will be in the same instance on that way. The ops group will start forming about 10 minutes before the start of the event. We will be using Luddotts teamspeak again.
Ops groups:
Republic: /join Caidith
Empire: /join Trully
Teamspeak: luddott.teamspeak3.com:4870 please join the teamspeak channel "Battle of Oricon"
Date: August 9nd 4 PM EST
Location: Rakghoul Tunnels Tatooine
Ops groups:
Republic: /join Caidith
Empire: /join Trully
Teamspeak: luddott.teamspeak3.com:4870 please join the teamspeak channel "Battle of Oricon"

Tunnel Nightmare
The Rakghoul event is back and it is not enough to kill only the infected. To become an elite plague research defender it is needed to kill 100 players in the tunnel.
This event is meant to help to achieve this task.
If you plan on taking part sign up: Sign up form (it is not needed to sign up but appreciated)
As at the last event I am also looking for guilds who would like to support this event by putting it into their calendar.

It is time to fight on Oricon
With the Relics of the Gree ending at the 29th of July the time of jolly ganking and surprise attacks around the fancy dome of the gree is over. Hence it is time for something different than 3 players luring in snowy corners to kill that lonely guardian - who normally only does pve but really wants those useful pvp relic - it is time for the battle of Oricon.
I am looking for guilds who would like to support this as well as single players.
Open World PvP is always best when both sides have the same strength. Hence there is a form to register to get an idea how many people plan on fighting on which side: Sign up (it is not needed to sign up to take part in this, but this allows to get an idea of the interest and range of participants before the event starts)
